EXTERIOR DESIGN

I have only a few surviving exterior concept pages of our hero ship,
the USS ROGER BERLINGAME and, no longer having a copy of
David's book, I'll have to rely on my design notes for details.



Apparently the book describes this aging Battlecruiser as "Egg-shaped".  It is propelled faster than light
by projecting a "Warp bubble" around itself (using 'warp grids') in order to transcend hyperspace.
These were my first thoughts on what that might look like.



Page two,...as the exterior design process continues.
Concurrently, I was planing the interior spaces, in case they might influence details on the outside.



Almost three weeks later, things were very much on their way and I had a direction that everyone liked.
